①B2B Sales Representative

Overview

F2L is currently looking for a B2B Sales Representative to join as soon as possible.

We are a language school with courses online and in-person, and we are passionate about breaking down cultural and language barriers to build a Japan where natives and non-natives alike feel at home.

We are expanding rapidly, and need a motivated Sales Representative to help us find new connections.

As this is a start-up, you will need to be highly organised, love a challenge, and like to be kept on your feet. We move fast, and we expect you to move fast, too.

The ideal candidate will have a good sense of customer relationship management, cultural sensitivity and have excellent organisation and communication skills.

As our target market is English speakers in Japan, you should also be an active member of the expat community in some way.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales pipeline and source new client leads
  • Plan and execute sales activities that will ensure sales growth objectives.
  • Actively approach targeted business clients (telephone, email, social networks, events, etc.)
  • Manage relationships with existing customers
  • Conduct market research (analyse competitors, efficiency of sales strategies, etc.)
  • Accurately demonstrate the features and benefits of F2L

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales or marketing experience
  • Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships
  • Native-level English
  • A start-up attitude – highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial attitude that’s not afraid to speak up and get down to business.
  • Ability to push F2L’s vision forward, while communicating and influencing new client leads.
  • Fast learner who adapts well to and is energized by change.

②Curriculum Developer and English Instructor

Overview

 F2L is currently looking for a curriculum developer and instructor for English classes starting as soon as possible.

We are a language school with courses online and in-person, and we are passionate about breaking down cultural and language barriers to build a Japan where natives and non-natives feel at home.

We teach in response to the individual students’ needs, and many of our students are from business backgrounds.

The ideal candidate will have a good sense of customer service, cultural sensitivity and have excellent organizational and communication skills.

Classes

Adult classes:

– Members of the ESL expat community eager to learn English conversation skills for socialising.

– Japanese business people eager to learn business English (conversation, writing, presentation skills).

– Moms whose children attend international schools, and who wish to better connect with the community with confidence.

Kids’ classes:

– Pre-schoolers. We aim to help them express themselves with confidence.

– K-12 ESL kids. We aim to boost their confidence to express themselves better in school through dramas, debates, or simple reading clubs.

– K-12 kids. We aim to help them to score higher in MAP tests or prepare for SSAT, IGCSE, etc.

Responsibilities

The curriculum developer and instructor will deliver goal-oriented, customer-focused lessons both face to face and online to business professionals, those looking to improve their English conversation skills, and children.

Qualifications

  • Native English speaker. Conversational Japanese preferred but not essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) – preferably in a business or education related field issued from an English-speaking country.
  • TESOL qualified, or other English teaching certification required.
  • Proven ability to create and implement new curricula.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to lay out a syllabus and curriculum for adults and K12 children.
  • Proven ability to teach adults and children.
  • Have a confident and friendly demeanour.
